Some places change you forever

There are places on Earth so extraordinary they leave a mark on everyone who visits them.

Places where beauty and danger exist side by side.

Places where nature still dictates the rules.

Victoria Falls is one of those places.

Known locally as Mosi-oa-Tunya—The Smoke That Thunders—the Falls have captivated explorers, adventurers and dreamers for generations.

This is where the story begins.

But it is only the beginning.

The River Decides

The Zambezi is not simply a setting.

It is a force.

A living presence that shapes the destinies of everyone who ventures near it.

River guides. Explorers. Smugglers. Adventurers. Survivors.

Some arrive seeking freedom.

Some arrive seeking fortune.

Others arrive running from their past.

Few leave unchanged.

At the heart of the story stands Thor, surrounded by a cast of unforgettable characters whose lives become intertwined through loyalty, danger, friendship and fate.

Thor, Steve, Luba, Tessany, Hans, Zili, Mel, Hugh, Celeste, Ayra, Cholina and many others each bring their own strengths, flaws, ambitions and secrets to the adventure.

A World Of Adventure

The Devil’s Pool Universe spans some of the most spectacular destinations on Earth.

From the thunder of Victoria Falls and the rapids of the Zambezi River, to the beaches of Mozambique, the wilderness of Botswana and the islands of Greece.

The places are real.

The adventures are real.

The stories are only beginning.

Every destination adds another layer to a growing world connected by exploration, friendship, danger and discovery.

The Legend Of Nyami Nyami

Long before modern borders existed, the people living beside the river told stories of Nyami Nyami.

The River God.

The Great Serpent.

Protector.

Destroyer.

Legend.

Today, the symbol of Nyami Nyami remains deeply woven into the culture of the Zambezi Valley and continues to inspire the mythology of the Devil’s Pool Universe.

Because some mysteries are older than history itself.
